Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ways throughout the life of our church. Find a place to plug in and serve.

Mission Outreach

Spring Valley is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in sending mission teams and supporting missionaries with our money and our prayers. We support international missions through our International Mission Board. Also, we endeavor to send teams from our church to assist our missionaries in practical projects and evangelistic outreach. We encourage our congregation to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they “Go, Give, or Pray.”  In addition, we strive to live missionally and minister in our own community.

Worship Arts Ministry

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members are involved in our worship arts ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. Still others get involved in working with our Children’s Worship Choir. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a responsibility to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. Each weekly sermon is uploaded to our website in video and audio formats. We also maintain our Facebook page for additional church communication.

Our goal at Spring Valley is to partner with parents and families to bring about spiritual transformation in the lives of their children and families. If you are looking for a new church home, we would love to have you visit. From our Sunday morning children’s Bible studies, to Wednesday night AWANA and Children’s Worship Choir, there is a place for your children to get involved. You will find an email link on our Spring Valley Kids page. Please do not hesitate to email us with any questions you may have about our Children’s Ministry.

Spring Valley Students

Our Student Ministries Program serves to train students to meet the challenge of ministry in this decade and beyond. Service is an integral part of the training program at Spring Valley. Jesus Christ Himself is our model: “… the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve…” (Matthew 20:28). Jesus demonstrated this servant attitude when He taught and fed crowds of thousands, when He dealt individually with outcasts like Zaccheus and the Samaritan woman, and when He washed the feet of His twelve disciples, saying, “I have set you an example, that you should do as I have done for you… Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them” (John 13:15 & 17).  Check out the Student Newsletter to find out the latest!

Church Planting

In an effort to see Jesus glorified among the nations, in all languages, we partner with several church plants. Currently we have groups speaking Tagalog, Vietnamese, Farsi, Spanish, and Urdu meeting on our campus. For more information visit our Church Planting page.
